What’s Growing-on... Fall Transition
As overall day length begins its slow dissent into shorter days, we look to the fields once bursting with summer color and see mounds of green garden mums of various sizes and stages, many adorned with buds just patiently awaiting their late summer or autumn debut.
Yes, it’s transition time again here at the farm, and while we are still going steady with our 9” annual program (and of course perennials), it is only a matter of time before the seasonal spotlight shines on the fall favorites, like Cabbage and Kale, pluming grasses, Ornamental Peppers, cold-tolerant annuals, Asters, Montauks, and the star of the show- Garden Mums.
No New England doorstep is complete without a fresh mound of Mums, or a beautiful combination planter utilizing Mums, Grasses, Cabbage or Kale, and other autumn accents. So while there are still several sunny summer days ahead, we’ve been working diligently to provide you and your clients everything needed for those festive Fall days... just around the corner. And, that folks is what’s growing-on here at Cavicchio Greenhouses, Inc.
